faeriesfolly will be happy to know that I did pick up some fangs tonight from Hot Topic. I haven't done the whole molding-to-my-teeth thing yet, probably try that tomorrow or Sunday. My one tooth is sorta crooked so I'm trying to figure out exactly how I'm going to get it on there. But now we can totally vamp it up at Dragon*Con - Merlotte's after dark ( Read more... )

Okay, I'm not sure if its kinda wrong to use LJ to ask you librarian questions. . . .

I have read EVERY Sophie Kinsella book. (The latest one - Twenties Girl - best yet! ! ! !) So I'm on a chick-lit kick. (A guilty pleasure!) I got some recomendations from amazon, but do you have any? Now THOSE are beach reads.

I kinda wana go to Dragon con some time - my group doesnt really do it. I also heard bands like mine do gigs....

Have you tried any of the Jennifer Crusie or Jennifer Weiner? Both of them are considered to be well-written chick-lit. They've both been writing for awhile so they should be pretty easy to find at a library or bookstore. I know Weiner just had a new one come out that's on the bestsellers. Or try googling "Sophie Kineslla Read Alikes", I see a lot of lists that librarians have put together with more chick-lit experience than me. :)

Don't wait for others to go, just go! That's what I'm doing. I found some online buddies to travel with and meet up with, but I just had to go! Def. sounds like something you would love. :)

*boogies*

You got fangs! Fitting them is the funniest part. They have a big enough opening that it shouldn't matter if your tooth is sorta crooked. Mine are weird and a bit fang-y as it is, and they fit fine. haha. (They were so much worse before braces.)
