I keep wondering about Babylon 5. Have you seen any of that show? I don't know what it's about (Sci-Fi, obviously), what the pace is, or anything. But I was looking at Farscape DVDs and it had under that "recommended/also bought" thing. I was wondering if it were any good... not that I need another show on my "to watch" list XD
I also need to see Hitchhiker's guide, but I refuse until I've read the series!
I know nothing about Babylon 5 except that ST:DS9 is apparently a huge rip-off of it and if you want to get a Babylon fan ranting, bring that up. lol. I've heard it's pretty good though, since the guy had the whole series planned out from day one.
YES! Read HHG - read all of them! The movie was okay, I actually prefer the BBC miniseries. But the book pwns all. :D
There's a mini-series on BCC?? AWESOME! I will definitely have to check that out :D
Also: you totally win for calling it a "changer", that's the second most familiar to me because my cousin calls it that and we grew up together (yet we both called it different things, bzuh?) "remote" is so foreign to me, but no one gets what I'm referring to when I call it something different! XD
Oh yes, the BBC miniseries stars most of the cast of the original radio drama (which was how HHG was first let loose on the general public). While the effects are a bit dated, I felt the script was closer to the books (it covers HHGttG and RatEotU). Plus, I had a crush on Ford Prefect at the time.
I probably say all three of those things, I like to change up my vocabulary. I think my mom calls it a "changer" so that might be where I picked it up from.
