this guy has only been president of Lucasarts for 2 years now...Maybe after working a few more years on nothing but star wars games, he will finally realize why Monkey Island and Maniac Mansion were so awesome.

Lucasarts lost their way a long time ago. They gave up on the engine that powered most of their best games, and went exclusively to the Grim Fandango engine, which was too big a step for them to take, let alone permanently.

And whatever happened to Full Throttle? That was the best thing to happen to gaming EVER.

oh man, I remember on the one Monkey Island game, they build a sushi place on the island and it's one of the self serve places with the little boats floating around with sushi on them and you have to grab the right one...good times.

yeah, they have that in the MOnkey Island game I have on PS2 "Escape From...." IT's not actually ON the island, but like, the mainland where you have to get everyone prepared to set sail.

I have loved EVERY SINGLE MONKEY ISLAND GAME that I've played. HOw dare he!: He actually likened a Monkey Island & Day of the Tentacle re-releases to the Bewitched & Dukes of Hazzard movie remakes! That bastard!

What a poop-mouth!

I love everything about Monkey Island. And it's time for that 5th in the series to get worked on and be released, as was mentioned in the 4th game. lol
