1. Did you know your spouse?
NOPE! He would have been in California and also he is 5 years older than so that would have been CREEPY!
2. Did you car pool to school?
Senior year I rode with my friend Katie a few mornings. She had this really OLD conversion van. But since I had lots of after school stuff, my Mom usually had to pick me up.
3. What kind of car did you have?
None, I didn't bother getting my license until after I graduated. First year of college I got my Dad's 1992 Ford Escort and I drove that until it died in the library parking lot in 2006.
4. What kind of car do you have now?
For a few more months, I have a 2006 Mini Cooper. We're looking at new cars now though...that's for another post...
5. It's Saturday night...where were you?
Probably at home catching up on the X-Files episode I missed because we had marching band on Friday night (actually, this was only an issue for the first half of high school, then they moved it to Sundays).
6. What kind of job did you have in high school?
I was a Page at the library, which means I put books away for 3-4 hours every few days.
7. What kind of job do you have now?
LIBRARIAN! (though I had a few in between, believe me, I tried other things!)
8. Were you a party animal?
Nope. Though I don't even know if people threw parties at my high school...I mean, I'm sure someone did but that wasn't my crowd.
9. Were you a cheerleader?
Nope.
10. Were you considered a jock?
LOL! Let's put it this way, I put off taking the required gym class until my senior year, I walked around the track at the start of the semester so I could easily get a better score at the end, and when we had to do the quick sprints, I fell on my face. So, yeah. NO ONE thought that.
11. Were you in band, orchestra, or choir?
YEP! I played flute in marching band, performing band, and choir. I even tried playing in the jazz band one year but I do not have the brain for jazz. I was also drum major my senior year (I waved my arms in front of the marching band, pretty much a giant metronome in a dress). And - not sure why there isn't a spot for this! - I helped out in drama club my senior year.
12. Were you a nerd?
YEP!. Honors classes, AP classes etc. Only C I ever got was in Geometry...hated that class. Raised by nerds so it was always my destiny!
13. Did you get suspended or expelled?

14. Can you sing the fight song?
I have no memory of a fight song...though I remember going to pep rallys...but since I also attended every football game (because marching band) and I can't remember one, I'm saying we didn't have one.
15. Who was/were your favorite high school teacher?
Trying to remember her name, she was my 11th grade English teacher...she might have been my favorite because she got the readable books - Gatsby, Grapes of Wrath - so there was less suffering over all. I'm honestly having a hard time remembering teachers LOL. Except my band directors because the first guy was an asshole and the second guy turned out to be a child molester yay (didn't find out about that until after I graduated)

19. If you could go back and do it again, would you?
What is the situation? Do I know what I know now and I get to go back? Or just go back? There are things I would have done differently but I think I got it mostly right the first time. Biggest change I would have made was dated more.
20. Did you have fun at Prom?
Yeah, it was a nice time, I don't remember much except we took swing dance lessons before hand (very basic) and then we had to pest the DJ to play ONE Brian Setzer song so we could try it out (we were awful...)
21. Do you still talk to the person you went to Prom with?
NOPE. I haven't spoken to him since we graduated.
22. Are you planning on going to your next reunion?
NOPE. Why do people even have reunions anymore when there is the internet? You can see how got fat and what their jobs are just by Googling. And if you liked them that much, you'd still be friends anyway. Feels like reunions don't serve any purpose anymore.
23. Are you still in contact with people from school?
Here's some randomness - so I have three people from school that I follow on Instagram. One of them I text every now and then because I turned him into a Fannibal LOL. BUT I have THREE other friends that went to my high school but graduated before I got there. Does that count? They are technically FROM my school so we have similar teacher memories haha.
24. What are/were your school's colors?
Brown and Gold (though the "gold" items tended to be more of a dark yellow...not the best color scheme ever)
25. What did you do on senior skip day?
I didn't participate on the official senior skip day - but I did skip school to camp out for Star Wars: Episode I tickets. My Mom dropped me and my friends off at the theater in Baltimore so we could camp out with all the other nerds. One of my favorite memories. THAT I would do again!
