My boss got me the slow cooker off of our wedding registry (I cannot BELIEVE how amazing an generous everyone has been, I am blown away...or maybe I'm just a cheap selfish bastard and this is normal...but I digress

slow cooker beef stew! My mom and I actually made this last weekend (minus the mushrooms and celery) and it was so yummy and hearty! We let it cook all day in her slow cooker and it was just great :)

Braised beef ragu is by far my favorite thing I've ever made in a crockpot. It's not exactly an "all five food groups" kind of meal, so I usually just serve it with a bag of salad mix :)
