I want to do a reread of the Thomas Harris books. I really enjoyed them as a younger reader and I'd like to see what I take away from them now :)

I think you are the second person I've seen recommending The Sculpter which means I probably should add that to my "to read" list. The one about being publicly shamed looks interesting too. I'm all for calling people out on shitty behaviour in person but online that seems not as fair as a mob mentality almost always takes over rather than a discussion.

I was really impressed with 'The Sculptor', it wasn't at all what I thought it was going to be. Even after I started reading it, I wasn't sure where it was going. You really should pick it up if you get a chance.

'Publicly Shamed' is a quick read and he confirms a lot of what we already know but also points out some other issues with why results may vary.

I've noticed Rick Geary is starting to write historical fiction. I'm thinking about backing his new one on Kickstarter. I love his true crime books. I started reading them in my tweens.

I didn't know about the Kickstarters! I'm tempted to pledge and at least get an autographed book. I've always loved his stuff. I actually booktalked the Lizzie Borden book to the 6th and 7th graders this year LOL. They thought it was HILARIOUS that I was telling them about MURDER. But they checked out the books so RESULT!
