The words of my subject line are quite commonplace in society.
I could study that... How and why society reacts to and creates situations like that...
or
I could study the people who are that situation, or those people affected by them.
or
I could teach students about how people (or society) create(s), react(s) to and deal(s) with situations like those.
It's a dilemma, one that I need to figure out pronto.
Do I research society, aid its members, or teach/aid its members about themselves, while making them do research.
I'm still going to get my dual degree... but the question to beg is, what I'm going to use it for... teaching others or myself.
Right now I'm leaning towards teaching others, but then I am often reminded about the monotony of the classroom, the early hours and the lack of work in the summer.
It's a dilemma... A real dilemma.
