There are some things you can only find in Pisay..
okhay. i've been reading a lot of senti entries about us graduating and leaving Pisay for the past few days.. this is a late senti/mushy/cheesy/emo entry of that sort. i haven't actually felt the sadness of leaving Pisay but HELLO, peer pressure! hahaha
hmmm. i'll be going to UP this coming schoolyear and it is definitely 82635491009273548372 times bigger than Pisay. it'll be fun riding the UP Ikot and UP Toki jeeps as well as walk.. and walk and walk and walk. there'll be a lot of new things in UP, prolly some familiar things as well.
but there will be things you can only find in Pisay, i think. like the Friendship Grandstand. the blue labgowns. the neon green PE shirts. the creek. how about the tables in the caf that are 'reserved' for upperclassmen? the 'sushi roll' that's made out of bread. mostly common and ordinary things to others, but totally different for us..
there are also some things that you learn from Pisay, besides academics and values and principles and whatnot.. haha. im talking about the pen twirling trick. as soon as you step into Pisay, you'll notice upperclassmen twirling and re-twirling their pens like crazy! then you get interested. then you want to learn. then you practice. and practice. and some more practice. then you get it. and then you flaunt it. then they'll find it interesting. and the cycle continues! you won't graduate from Pisay without learning how to do the pen trick, or at least TRY to do it once ;)
and who could forget our dearly beloved STIPENDS? we anxiously wait for it to arrive like some kind of celebrity! that, my friends, you can't find in other high schools.. :) luckily for the lowerclassmen of SY 2005-2006, they'll get a raise! hehehe
obviously, i am not in the depressed mood.. i can't seem to write in a way that would make you cry while you nod your heads in agreement to whatever i have to say. lol. but that doesn't mean that i won't miss Pisay.. how can i NOT miss Pisay when this was where i first:
1. had more than 1 guy friend
2. stayed in a classroom with no aircon (which i was accustomed to)
3. had to walk from one classroom to the next
4. bought from the lunch line
5. had more than one club
6. experienced being a loner
7. learned how to do the pen twirling trick
8. earned money for studying
9. failed a subject
10. copied an assignment
11. passed a dancing audition
12. had a coed barkada
13. fell in-love (but was actually infatuated)
14. had a SPECIFIC sport
15. got into the Director's List
16. had grades of 1.0, 1.25 instead of 90, 93
17. understood that 1.0 is better than 5.0
18. cut class
19. vandalized a chair
20. met famous bands
etc etc etc. you get the pic, right? :)
ahhhh yes, Pisay. how i'll miss thee so. how i'll miss the people so...... that's a different entry, i guess ;)
