DanCelebration 2008
it was worth it. the at-least-5-hours-long training days, the skipped meals, the classes cut, the sundays sacrificed, the knees bruised, the muscles overworked and overstretched, the tears, the daster-o-sports-bra-lang-pag-late-sa-training moments, the stress - everything! it was so worth it.
honestly, i wasn't expecting anything after performing. during the finale and while waiting for the announcement of winners, you can say that our team was the most laid-back. not because we were thinking that it was a 'sure win' for us, but because we didn't care at all! we were already happy after our performance because we felt that He was dancing with us, too. it wasn't about the trophy or the plaque but it was about inspiring other people and pleasing Him.
it was really funny during the announcement of winners. the announcement of winners was so anti-climactic, thanks to the teacher/prof/dean/the man. may blooper pa!

the second runner up is..
ateneo. dance. troupe.
talaga lang ha? good thing the host said 'Company of Ateneo Dancers' right after. eh yung mas nakakatawa pa dun e right behind the very excited man was CADs! so they were like, 'oh tayo pala yun. YAY!'
since we (UPSDC) were two teams, we didn't really know how we'd know if they were referring to team a and team b supposing they would announce us as winners. and that's what happened! hehe 2nd place, UP! eh we didn't know nga kung aling team ba, kaya we ALL were jumping towards the center of the stage and celebrating! hahaha! peter said nga,

hahahaha! funny! we were already thankful that we placed, but when they announced that UP was the champ, WE WERE ECSTATIC!! after returning to our 'blocking' after receiving the plaque for 2nd place, we ran towards the center stage AGAIN when they announced that we were champs again! :) grabe! both teams actually placed! :):):)
here's the best part - kuya xernan confirmed with the people in-charge that TEAMBABWE placed FIRST! AAAAAAA!!! grabe ok?? honestly, i was SOOOOO thankful already that both teams placed, but to find out that we actually placed first?? sobra-sobra na yun. sobra-sobra na talaga yun, Lord! :)
we were hugging everybody! i was so happy but i wasn't crying. i was just so so SOOOO happy! :) akala ko nga 'yan, wag ka umiyak, kel' na e, pero nung kasama ko si cheska tas pabalik na sana kami sa dressing room, bigla kami tinawag ni ate arda in the 'ate' voice.

i was like, ATE ARDA NAMAAAAN! PINAPAIYAK MOKO!! tas habang umiiyak nako nun. SERYOSO, humahagulgol na ako nun! tas nagyakapan na kami ni cheska kasi humahagulgol narin sha. haaay. i so love ate arda. :')

we (teambabwe) ate at dampa sa libis.. parang last year lang rin ako nagcelebrate ng berdy dun a. hahaha! :P hay, napagastos ako! hehe pero okay lang, super saya naman to spend the first few minutes of my being 20 years old with the team i love :)
nagcountdown pa nga sila e! hehehe ankyot nilang lahat! pati si ate mycs at kuya randell ha! :) tas habang kuma-countdown na, jolo stood up and i noticed na he went to his bag (which was on the other table) and got something. shempre napa-'ano kaya yun?' ako. hehehe so nung naging 'happy birthday kel!' na, he gave me the gift - brownies from the team! :) awww, guys! hehehe :)
so after eating, sleepover kela ate pongkie!!! :) not all went, pero enough to still have some fun :) hehehe natulog kami sa sala. hehe mga 330am na siguro ako nakatulog tas gising pa sila kuya glenn, ate pongkie, and kuya micx nun. hehe

The Morning Of My Birthday --> naks naman the title.
o yun, since i had to be in makati by 11 and in pasig by lunch, i had to leave kagad. sinamahan ako ni jolo sa taxi pero nung palabas kasama namin si ate mycs.
in the taxi, we sort of talked na. and.. ♥. grabe, parang highschool lang ulit yung nafeel ko.. parang bagong-bago lang.. parang narenew lang.. :) haaaaaay! we're still in-love!!! :)

okay, i think i have a new dog. HAHAHA 'i think' kasi i dont know kung officially mine na yun o ano. haha! kasi when we arrived in pasig na, my tita was the one who opened the gate tas she said, 'my gift is downstairs.. with matisse (her dog)'. shempre napa-'hmm ano kaya yun?' ulit ako. tas when i looked downstairs, may puppy!!! my tita gave her a chinese name that means black beauty. hehe gusto ko sana palitan e HAHAHA pero hindi ko pa mapalitan kasi nga i dont know if she's mine na ba talaga or what. and i might stick with the chinese name kasi unique? hehe
hmmmmmmmmmmm. GRABE 20 NA AKO!!! yun lang masasabi ko.
