a blessed day

woke up early, around 7ish. i originally planned to spend the whole day with jolo. visit him and his family in their condo in the morning, find and buy a dress for pia's debut in the afternoon, and watch the FUBU dance compet in the evening.
BUT NO. why?
.....
because i was included in the lineup for the FUBU compet 2 days before the event..!!! o_O ganito yung nangyari:
cheska and i visited the fubu team's training at celeb thursday night. that was also the night i found out A LOT OF THINGS which i will intentionally not mention here (ahaha! bitin?). anyway, since wala pa sila ate angel and ate love, ate arda used us as their proxies para sa blocking. since che and i knew the dance naman, nakisayaw kami pag sinasayaw na nila. after one run of the girls' routine, naglakad nako papunta sa side nang sinalubong ako ni sir j and he said,
'kel, pasok ka sa fubu ha? take the place of ayna because you know the steps better.'
omeged. O_O WHAT JUST HAPPENED???!! seryoso, nakatayo lang ako dun nakatunganga for a few seconds when i turned around and started walking aimlessly.. laki parin ng mata ko nun. that's when i walked towards cheska and cheska hugged me really tight! grabe, hinug ko rin sha ng sobrang higpit! we were just talking about how bad we wanted to be part of the FUBU team kasi yung sasayawin nila eh yung elims piece ng skechers WHICH WE WERE A PART OF! but never did i imagine na mangyayari yung nangyari lang. sobrang na-rattle ako, nawindang, speechless, blank..... you get the point. nung paguwi ko lang after the 'visit-turned-training' tumatak sa utak ko na
im part of the FUBU team.
end of flashback. hehe so back to the morning of saturday. so yun, pumunta ako ng ministop katipunan kasi dun yung napagusapan namin ni jolo.. sabi ko 8am ako nandun pero sabi niya 830am raw. sabi ko di ako malelate.. di nga ako nalate! hehehe 830 na nung nagtext sha ng 'waaa w8 kala ko malelate ka'.. >_< so yun. i waited for a few minutes pa. hehe tas paglingon ko dun sa labas, nakita ko na sha naka-shorts at tsinelas. need i ask kung kakagising lang niya? hahaha and true enough, di pa raw sha naliligo.... AT NAGSISIPILYO >_< pero naghilamos naman sha. sa pabango nga ata e, para di halata dipa naliligo >_<
nandun sa condo si tita joann and yung lil sis ni jolo na si en :) pinakain ako ni tita ng ham. ampayat ko raw, kumain raw ako. sabi ko nahihiya ako na wala akong nadalang food. kasi ang sabi saken ni jolo aalis sa umaga yung mom niya tas babalik pero di niya sinabi na hindi na tumuloy si tita dun. kaya wala tuloy akong dala talaga... except skyflakes? hehehe
nanood kami ng dvd habang umalis si tita joann para kunin report card ni en. John Tucker Must Die yung pinanood namin tapos naging Mr. Bean hahaha. kaso we left mga lunch time na kasi i had to be at the UP theater ng 1pm, call time namin yun e. sabi ni jolo okay lang iwan namin si en dun sa condo (dipa kasi dumadating si tita joann), pero i wasnt sure. so tinext ko si tita.. kaso pagkatext ko, may tumunog na phone. OH NO HINDI NIYA DALA PHONE NIYA >_< pero dahil wala na talaga akong choice, nagsorry nalang ako kay en. pero sabi naman niya na sanay sha.. sabi rin ni jolo.. so yun, we left na.
dumaan muna kami sa yakal to borrow noelie's shoes.. hehe then pumunta ng Oz Cafe kasi nandun sila sir j, aye, sam, arda, em, and jm.. pero we went to sc to buy sa rodic's kasi mahal sa oz.. pagbalik namin sa oz, papunta na sila ng UP theater.. so yun.. blocking blocking.. getting ready.. tas the event proper.
TO MAKE A VERY LONG STORY SHORT, NANALO ANG UP STREETDANCE CLUB NG 1ST PLACE!!! :D 2nd ang mapua and 3rd ang UPLB! :) it's about time UPLB won a competition! sobrang hindi nirerecognize yung amazing talents nila e.. sobrang nagbless si God nung gabing yun :)
btw, UMIYAK AKO ON STAGE! hahahaha dati, naeexagge-an ako sa mga umiiyak on stage pag nanalo.. pero nung gabing yun, naintindihan ko na talaga kung bakit maiiyak ka.. NAPAKAOVERWHELMING KASI! grabe yung happiness, yung joy! sobrang blessed ako nung gabing yun, blessed talaga kaming lahat! habang hindi pa inaannounce yung winners, nagsasabihan na kami sa isa't isa na 'whatever happens, guys ha? happy tayo sa sayaw natin.. no hard feelings ok? it's up to God'.. chineck talaga namin yung hearts namin and yung intentions namin.. yun yung Word kasi the night before, yun yung na-ministry namin with jez leading.. soul searching talaga.. and nung FUBU event, chinceck talaga namin mga puso namin kung bakit kami nandun.. and because nasa tamang lugar mga puso namin, it made the victory sweeter ten-fold. :)
I AM SO BLESSED TO HAVE EXPERIENCED SOMETHING LIKE THIS. :') grabe, amazing talaga si God. one minute, i was just watching them train.. the next, im part of the training.. everything happens for a reason talaga.. sobrang tumindi yung pagtitiwala ko kay God.. :D
last night was such a fun night.. it was a fellowship. different groups came together to compete, pero there was this one moment na everybody forgot about the competition and just enjoyed each other's company. masasabi ko na yun yung nangyari kasi nagpipicturan kami with EVERYBODY! as in, palipat-lipat lang yung mga groups sa ibang groups! ang saya-saya nga e! ang gulo-gulo backstage, wala na pumapansin dun sa guest performers na nagpperform na XP hahaha wups, sorry guys. ehehe :P
after the event, we ate at Shakey's katipunan :) napakasaya rin ng gabing yun kasi KATABI KO SI JOEL. hahahaha!!! oh oh oh! i forgot to say na nakahug ko rin sha dun backstage! lol!! ♥ hahahaha! tas katabi ko rin sha nung announcement of winners! hahaha todo score ako nung gabing yun XP si kuya jm nga, kinunan kami ng picture dun sa shakey's. hahaha! :D
pero shempre, ubod ako ng saya kasi nanood si jolo at sumuporta saken ♥ nung sinabi ko na umiyak ako on-stage nung inannounce na nanalo kami at tinanong kung nakita niya ba yun, sabi niya oo at naiyak rin raw sha.. hehehe :) tas sabi rin niya na ang galing-galing ko na raw.. ibang level na raw talaga.. aww, babe. :')
