Hello, 6am. nice to meet you.
now for those just tuning in (i've always wanted to say that), my birthday is in 18 days, 17 hours, 54 minutes and counting. yup, i have a countdown attached to the screen of my laptop. i guess it's called a desktop countdown in techy language. (i'm trying to save face and not come across as a total geek. i'm totally failing.)
And I'd just like to point out, i have no definite plans for my birthday, and this kinda upsets me. it's the whole turning-legal year, and i'm thinking a proper celebratory shindig should really go down.
but i'll probably just let whatever crazy people decide to show up at my house that night decide for me. i don't really like commitments.
well, other than the typical kind. it seems those are rather easy, once you realize that you spend more time laughing than you do fighting. or at least equal time.
I guess i'll have to find something else to count down to after my birthday, considering that little desktop gadget has been hanging around in the top right corner of my screen for the last 168 days. I'll probably miss it. It's all cool and matrix-themed, with green letters on a black backrground. now that i think about it, those are also the colours of the green lantern. waaay cooler than the matrix.
But what would i count down to? end of exams? summer vacation? those are pretty much one in the same, and i know that's going to be may 1st. not really a big deal, actually, since i'll probably just get a second job in order to pay for the move to Vancouver.
Oh. Moving.
I wonder what colour theme THAT countdown should have. If only there were a universal scheme to "WHOOOO I'M GOING TO UNIVERSITY, BITCHES!" That'd be perfect.
.... why did I choose Matrix colours to represent my birthday? I'm starting to worry myself.
It's 6:11am! I might as well hop out of bed and go get a coffee from work. I won't tell them I haven't slept yet. They'll probably figure it out on their own.
Nighty night..
rambling,
sshh i'm crazy
