We'd be here

1. The soldier stepped lightly across the field, eyes on the alert, rifle at the ready. He kept to the perimeter near the fence where the hedge grew. Beyond the brush were the woods which always seemed so eerily dark; territory of the enemy. A sudden rustling; he dropped to prone position and cocked the automatic, loaded it, pointed at the offending sound behind the bush and crept, closing in. Behind enemy lines now, he leapt out and took aim. The little girl looked up at him with wide eyes and momentarily stunned, the soldier let his rifle fall to the floor. The bullet drilled a hole through his helmet and his skull just then.

2. I woke up in the morning, and was crushed at the appearance of the notification 'Sending failed, try again? Yes. No.' At 10 o clock, it was too late to make amends for 8 hours before. Now, you're on a plane to nowhere. And I  am staring out of my window at the sky.

3. Things aren't necessarily used for their original purpose. Explosives are used to kill, instead of clear tunnels. The pen, to poison the mind, instead of celebrate truth and art. Clothing, to expose, instead of conceal modesty. A watch to hide the timeless scars, instead of telling the time. A heart to hurt, instead of love.

4. Me: -writing- W&B are not independent. P(W|B) = 22/52 =/= 2/5 = P(W)
Since P(W|B) =/= P(W) W&B are not independent
Teacher: -written- Well done.
Me: M&C are not related by blood
Teacher: ??? -big cross- See me.

5. I'd like a flower with an odd number of petals, not an even numbered one, please. Any flower will do.
Why? Most people would ask for sunflowers or roses. That's an odd request. Are you going to keep it?
Oh no, I'm not going to keep it, don't get me wrong. I'm going to pluck off the petals and go, "You love me, you love me not, you love me, you love me not,..." an odd number of petals means I'll always end with "You love me."

you, writes, thoughts
