Everyone that I've talked to is leaving for spring break this year.
Everyone, that is, except for me. Spoonie and the rest of the orchestra are going to Germany. Dominic and Katie are going to Mexico. KG and I have thrown around the idea of a trip to Arizona, but he is most likely going to California with Evan and Sean. Chris is going to the Caribbean. So that will be sweet. Looks like 9 straight days of work for me. Or a one-man roadtrip to Wisconsin.
The show today was pretty fun. There were a lot of people in that place. A lot of people that I didnt mind seeing. It was nice outside, and until Whelk played, there was good music. After Dom, KG, Spoonie, and I went to Wendy's, we went to a lake to play some mad footbag. Yeah, this was a good day.
Who wants some old-fashioned movie reviews?
I do
Title: Ray
Director: Taylor Hackford
Starring: Jamie Foxx, Kerry Washington, Regina King, Bokeem Woodbine, Sharon Warren
Plot summary: Career and life of legendary R&B pianist Ray Charles
Breakdown: Aside from some minor flaws in the cinematography and lack of acting ability in small children, this movie amazed me beyond words. Foxx presents his character (Ray Charles) perfectly. Every move, word, and expression reflects, to the smallest detail, the genius that is Ray Charles. However, a movie isn't made or broken by one performace. Everything from the cast to the music is phenomenal.
