Oh no, I've become one of those Coupon Queen ladies
Today at Jewel (or "the Jewel," as we say in Chicago), I spent $51.65 on 26 items. I saved $28.48. Everything I bought was either on sale or I had a coupon, or both. LOVE IT. I've been looking at the receipt throughout the day to get a momentary thrill. Plus I got a few free things, including a bottle of salad dressing that wasn't even a "buy one get one free" promotion. Nope, just a coupon for a free bottle of dressing. Oh, and the coupon was a year out of date -- as far as I know, Jewel doesn't care about coupon expiration dates.
