My Monty
I woke up this morning to a pair of beautiful brown eyes, heart-melting dimples, 14 new white teeth and a slobbery finger trying to pick my nose. The joys of being a mother are endless.
Before the babysitter got here (Grandma) I snuggled ten squirmy little toes, one head of *finally* blondish hair, a ticklish belly and a snotty nose from teething. I love putting my baby down for a nap.
When I got home from work I was greeted with a squealing "Hi! Hi! Hi!", the biggest smile a 1 year old could possible give, and the best hug in the history of hugs. I love being away for the excitement of coming home.
Tonight I got to rock a dinosaur pajama clad Montgomery with two eye rubbing little fists, one tiny singing voice, and pleanty of snuggles into my neck. Good nights are always sweetest when one takes the time to notice.
