What's the interest rate on the card? If it's more than one digit, it's probably not worth it in the long run. If you can take out a real student loan, those are a good deal. And some schools may have financial aid.

You should talk to Harry's roommate about being a bartender. Like most service industry jobs, it all depends on where you work. You'd probably have to start out at a low paying job, and spend a year or so getting experience before you could get to where the good money is.

Yeah, I was going to suggest that you talk to my roommate.

She said she'd be happy to talk to you. She's free on Saturday.

don't know, She's a night owl though and usually doesn't stir until 2 ish, so it'd be in the afternoon/evening sometime.

We'll talk during the day and figure it out.

The class would only cost $250, and my bank doesn't do loans unless I own a home. The CC would be through my bank, WAMU, and the intrest would be 0 for the first 6 months, then variable from 10-29% after that of course and no anual fee. I'd most likely be able to get it paid off in that 6 months, but it's sort of coming down to how good of an investment it would be for me. I don't know how marketable bartenders are, so I don't know how long it would take for me to make my money back.
