Booo-ring
My day yesterday was fairly uneventful. I got to take a two hour lunch at work, shortly followed by a one hour smoke break, which was just enough to keep me going until I left 1/2 hr early. I slept through meditation last night, so it was basically no different than work or the ride to work. Mucho tired. I went to bed at 10:00 last night after cleaning out our microwave. Holy shit! My life is super lame! The only real high point of yesterday, was getting to repeatedly ask the Admin if she was pregnant, which she may have thought was funny, it is hard to say. She said that she had a Mammogram appointment today at 8:10 (shockingly, my boss has a dentist appt. at 8:10 today also... wonder if that is code word for we are not coming in) and in response to that comment, I asked her if she was pregnant. Now, I know mammograms have nothing to do with pregnancy, but it was still fun to pretend like I wasn't hearing her and say things like: "aww, boy or girl?", or "I can't believe you didn't tell me!", or "when are you due, you havent begun to show yet.", or my favorite, "Who's the father?" (just kidding). This went on for ten minutes and finally, she got my attention and said "you know what a mammogram is don't you?" I said, "yes, of course. I know what it is like to be a woman." Then I smiled and left.
