Working Woman, oooh.
Sooo, today I went to VSD corporate offices today to meet my supervisor and mentor for my internship this summer. It was nice, we had a causual lunch at this restaurant at Easton and talked about a lot of stuff. They asked me how school was, how it was adjusting to college/the east coast/harvard, how I feel about this upcoming summer, all that jazz. Then they went more into the business, which was really what I wanted to hear.
Apparantly this summer (um, fyi I'm going to be working with the Strategic Marketting team) I'm going to do a lot of stuff that has to do with analysis and stuffs. I'm going to be looking at competitors, seeing how they market their merchandise (sales wise, stuff like that) and compare that to us, to see what similarities and differences there are, and all that jazz.
But yeah, I'm pretty excited about it. It's a coolio opportunity.
