I had a rather splendid weekend.
Renee gave me a call early last night. She lives up in Dover, NH and because of the distance, I haven't seen her in quite a long time, well, since last April. She called me and asked me if I had any plans that night because she wanted to drive down to see me. I didn't have anything terribly pressing to do, so I bid her down. She brought some lovely "Tattoo" Captain Morgan's, and we got some stuff to go with it. Spent the night. I haven't had a "sleepover" in I can't TELL you how long!!! It was a lot of fun, even at 26.
popped in my richard simmons tape yesterday and today. beginning to feel parts of my body tightening up again, as expected. marvelous video, i'll never get over how inexpensive the results are.
I HATE CVS. that stupid moron of a store manager wrote me up for what she said "ignoring a cash high with over a thousand dollars in it for more than an hour". complete and utter bullshit. i don't know what the hell is wrong with that dumb bitch. i kept my cool with her, but it was made known that i was highly aggravated with her. i did however, bluntly refuse to sign that write-up sheet. whatever they think i did that went so against company policy was NOT something i did on purpose, therefor, i did not sign it. i told them my side of the story, though i don't know what good that did, they wrote me up anyhow.
I really do hate Retail.
I need some prayers folks, I need to get OUT OF RETAIL FOR THE REST OF MY LIFE.
I'm not one to be stressed out about being on my toes about "cash highs" or "3 or more call for backup" or "good customer service brings in good money".
My personality was NOT cut out for Retail. I would certainly know, I've been doing it for 8 consecutive years.
I would love to find a place of employment where I can sing and laugh and genuinely HELP people, without being considered "procotious and UNPROFESSIONAL".
Is there really anything out there that can meet this need......and help pay for a roof over my head as well??????
