Interior Decorating
Well, I've had the past 4 days off from Retail, and all I can say is that it's been nice. Cuddles has been lovin the fact that his Mummy is home with him lately!!! Unfortunately, today is my last day of freedom. I go back tomorrow for Friends & Family Day 8-4.
I've been waking up at MY leisure, eating what I want WHEN I want, not having to worry about a whole lot, and doing whatever the hell I want to do when I feel like doing it. I don't mean to sound "lazy", but I could get used to this kind of lifestyle for the rest of my life!!!! *PSSSHHH* I had better wake up and smell the java I just brewed, cuz it AIN'T HAPPENIN'. Oh well, I had a mini vacation, so what am I complaining about??
Time to shower and start the day!! =]
I'm going to set up my little lighted Christmas Village ontop of the entertainment center in the bedroom a little later after the coffee kicks in. I've got my precious Igloo, 2 lighted Lemax churches, 2 glazed ceramic churches that are all white and accented with gold paint--I stuck some string lights inside because they glow when lit up and they have tiny windows besides, a mini ceramic church I got for 99¢ @ CVS, and of course my big ceramic lighted Christmas Tree that has little pegs stuck in it similar to lite-brite pegs. I'm going to layer this stuff ontop of a blanket of faux snow to finish the effect. There will be a picture post as soon as I'm done, don't worry!!!
I'm not going to bother with the actual Christmas tree this year, David and I helped Candace with hers, so I just have to go over her place to appreciate a C.T. if I felt like it. I might though, string some christmas lights all over the apartment near the ceiling if I have enough thumb tacks. Might only have enough for ONE room, but that's OK. Gotta get Uncle Dennis to drag my xmas gear out of storage. He'll just grumble about that, lol ;}
