(no subject)
packing for the grandparents. at least my books came yesterday. :). apparently i'm losing weight, cause my ring finger is smaller cause my silver 'crash' ring keeps falling off. ohwell, i think i'll make it into a necklace.
anyways, i'll be in NY from tonight-sunday@noonish, so if you need to reach me/feel the need to remind me about civilization, i'll have my cell. the number is in my obligatory contact info post, from about two or three weeks ago. if you're in the area on sunday and feel like some poetry, i've got a group of people that are heading into DC for the slam--give me a call!
so....ROADTRIP! the going-to-NY part is always boring, cause my lil brother's there, but coming back, just me and dad and the truck, is always fun. it's a six-hour drive that i could drive in my sleep even though i don't even have my permit yet. a half hour through VA(right past pot woods...), cross the green bridge, and hour or so in Maryland, then PA for forever and ever(like four hours), and then NY for a half hour or so. it's scary how i know my way around Bath now.
STEUBEN COUNTY FAIR ON SATURDAY!!!!!!!!!!! *dances* it's the longest running county fair in the country. i have so many fun memories from when i was little of the fair. i can't wait to go see the log cabin people, ride on the ferris wheel with my daddy, or eat the godawful food at the place we always eat. I doubt any of you understand my excitement, but that's okay. i'm special like that. i'm gonna go see how my laundry's doing.
