I am not going to say a lot, but, you're not pathetic. No one is, in love, or in any other things. Be strong to endure whatever you're going through. I may not know how it actually feels, but I know it's VERY painful.
Other than love making us sad and making us cry, it also can make us the happiest of all. You were happy around him, and now you're sad over him. It's painful, all so painful. Cry, you can cry. It makes you feel much better. Though the guy isn't worth crying for, but for your own good, let out your pain. If I were there, I would definitely lend you my shoulder.
You'll have to go through this, then maybe, you can meet a better guy? For only God knows, the next can be your Prince Charming, or the guy after the next one, or the guy after the next next next guy. You'll never know. But, take all these, and be strong for the future more painful encounters. It'll help, they'll help.
