Hawaii - Day 1
First day in Hawaii. Got in touch with my cousin & made plans to see him Sunday. Then went to a ridiculously expensive restaurant ($8 for tea at this place!) with about 10 people. I guess it's a good thing that it ONLY came out to $317 for all of us.
After dinner, walked to the beach with a few people, let the waves wash up on my feet, and left long before I was ready to go.
On the way back to the hotel, went to a convenience store to pick up snacks. Remember pogs from about 15 years ago? Very sad news for everyone... POG juice is basically high fructose corn syrup. It's 15% juice. Now I'm not sure what to do with the carton I bought.
By the way, my hotel room has a fax machine in it. Is there anyone I should fax?
