The Cancer bills are fun enough to keep up with and decipher, then we got the last 3 days at NW hospital for Camille's dad when he passed away in March, bill sent to us!!!

~Oh yeah, ... right..... checks in the mail! HA! (thats me being facetious)

They can try, but it doesn't seem like it should be legal for them to try to make you guys pay.

yep, they can, and its legal for them to come after immediate family.

we are currently working with the State on this matter as he was on state's assistance for his last two years.. (state assistance and us that is.... )

So we'll see... yeah and No signature that obligates us to pay, but still they have the right to come after next of kin who are in charge of his "estate" in cases like these... his Estate netted us $1,200.00 at the estate/garage sale. oh, and a car that I cannot sell! Maybe I should just sign the title over to them! HA HA HA!

So yea, talk to a lawyer, and yea they could go after assets of the estate (love the title idea) but a flesh eating lawyer should be able to skin them alive.

Agreed you should be able to probate that away. Call an attorney who does probate most will chat with you for free over the phone. Enough to outline your situation and get some advise.
