Backtracking
Let's see. Here's how the weekend went by backwards:
Saturday
Met up with Oxie for ice cream and chicas. :) It's too bad she missed the fun in EK, but I filled her in on all the particulars. We had a grand time laughing and stuffing our faces silly with sweets. After we adjourned, I had dinner and dessert with yellowcandy, Penny, Bop, and Jacq.
Jacq's belly is so freaky I seriously thought she could give birth any minute! Haha ang cute! Of course, she had to go home early to rest but we stayed behind to catch up on all that we've missed, to plan three weddings (one this December and two next year --- June and September). Excited na ko sa gowwwnnnnnn!!! Oh and we're going to buy matching shoes and everythang just like in Sophomore year. :-) Coolness. Feeling ko talaga babaeng-babae ako pag kasama ko tong sila Penny hahaha.
I remember when we were in our Sophomore year in college, we all did our back-to-school shopping together. Para kaming Unicorns of Sweet Valley hahaha. We bought matching notebooks, pairs of shoes, bags, etc., etc. Palibhasa similar schools ang pinanggalingan kaya very sorority ang chica. We had salon appointments together, regular sleepover parties, experimented with all kinds of recipes when cooking and tortured our hair with hair color, curling iron, etc. We also got drunk together, got high together (remember Kenneth's car? HAHAHAHA oh my, sheez. Now that's too much info. :p)
Tapos Jacq pa is due to give birth on June so for more baby shower extravaganza ito.
Nakakatuwa tong mga bading ko. :) Conversation jumped from babies, to husbands, weddings, in-laws, Harry Potter, college crushes, plans, etc. Nakakaloka ever. Shempre wala naman akong maicontribute sa child care at marriage and the family. Hahaha. At least marami naman akong natututunan. And I don't have to deal with all those yet. The operative word being YET. Hahaha. Alavet, I freaking lavet!
Friday
Took a leave from work to spend time with reyna_laitera, Oxie, Zhai, and Chongks. NAPAKASAYA wala na akong masabi pa hahaha. It feels like getting drunk, but in the best way ever. Para pa din akong may hangover ngayon sa tuwa. Sabi nga ni Joey: "Hoy! Ano ka ba, hindi ba nauubos yang ngiti mo? Parang ako nangagawit sa kakangiti mo e!" I'm smiling really, really wide as I'm typing all of this. :)
Sobra pa din akong kinikilig sa tuwa I don't even know where to begin. But anyway, I'm posting a filtered entry after this for the pics and the kahindik-hindik na "chicas". :p
