Flying Above the Clouds
Well, I decided to give my old neighbor a chance. It sounded to me like he needed a friend and I could always use another one. I gave him my phone number and told him to text me so we could get to know each other. He's just so stinkin sweet! He asked me to a movie and asked if it was a date. I told him "just as friends for now." He was okay with that. A few more days passed. I really didn't want to wait 'til the movie so I asked him if I could stop by his house with Em after work one day. We ended up meeting up on the bikepath close to where I grew up. It was raining and Emily danced in circles around us while we talked. He decided to put his arm around me and I let him. A little bit later he kissed my hair and jokingly I said "It's a good thing I washed my hair.." We both chuckled. I really, really had a hard time looking him in the eye cuz I didn't know what would happen. Eventually, I was ready to find out and we kissed. It was flippin' amazing. I don't remember a kiss being as wonderful EVER. A couple more minutes passed and Em's aunt called me so we could go to dinner together. That day was when I really started to fall for him. I really couldn't wait for the movies then!! A couple of my co-workers have commented that I now have a glow about me. I'm just so happy. I am really ecstatic to find out what is to come. I have a feeling it's something amazing.
