Today's lessons in common sense:
1) If you do not have extensive knowledge and experience in plumbing, do NOT attemp any work related to plumbing.
2) If water is going through a pipe and you hit it with a hammer until you put a friggin' hole in it, the chances are that the pipe is going to explode due to the water pressure and you are gonna flood everywhere in the house.
3) If you do not have common sense, listen to someone with common sense.
My landlord tried to replace sink/shower in the washroom and ended up breaking the water pipe, in turn flooding the kitchen and the laundry room. HOLY CRAP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! You do NOT attempt plumbing if you don't know how. I gotta wake up early tomorrow for the first day of my work and I've been up for the last two hours cleaning up the kitchener, which by the way, is so filthy and disgusting after the flood that it looks like I am going to have to eat outside the house until I move to a new place in a few days.
I am pissed.
