My dad had a sauna with the neighbor this evening. I think they took a bit too much beer and something that I don't even want to know.
He was watching TV:
"Antti, come here!"
"Yeah?"
"Why the subtitles are missing??"
"It's because it's in FINNISH"
"Oh.. you are right!"
I also uploaded some pictures from about 4 weeks ago. I spend a weekend in Nurmijärvi (that's a small place located ~50km from Helsinki to north) with my friends. We have known each other through IRC about an four years now. We had really great time. Went to an beach (which has most clearest water of the whole Southern Finland) and it was FULL of people. I guess it was because the weekend was the hottest during this summer. Nearly 30 degrees.
Here's some pictures
Kimmo as an geisha!
At the Friday evening we grilled some steaks and corn. I was the cook and I didn't hear any complains. Maybe it was good or they were just too polite.
Ville at the beach. Our little own Hasselhoff ♥
Kimmo doing what he can do best.. sleeping. Every night he was the one who went to sleep first and was the last one to woke up.
Maria and Kimmo. They made me to do this!
Maria and Anna
..and now something different. We found little plastic swords at the shop by 4€/sword. Couldn't resist of buying four of them and here's the result.
Me and Ville after the sauna. Having an ultimate fight. We had to download some Manowar for the battle music. I think it wasn't worth it :D
Ville trying to challenge me again. Like he would ever win. I had a hard time keeping my towel up because I really didn't have anything under it. I felt Scottish!
Seriously. It fuckin' hurt :D
When we came back to Kotka with Anna by my car, we saw two hitchhikers at Helsinki so we took them with us. Man and woman from
Petrozavodsk Russia. They had hitchhiked for three weeks all over Finland and Norway, where they had hiked in the mountains. They were really nice people and their trip sounded really fun. I'd like to try same kind of traveling method someday.
Tomorrow I have to move. Luckily I don't have much stuff to pack. I wonder what kind of room mate I'll get. I'm also waiting to get know of new people. Also my studies start at Monday, which scares me a little, because I haven't studied nearly at all after I finished gymnasium 1½ years ago.
