Autumn is comg
Autumn is coming. I woke up at 12:00 and it was cold. I went to my closet and I tried to find something warm. So now I'm sitting here wearing an old sweater, drinking tea and eating some toast. My fingers feel cold, it's raining outside and I can hear The National playing through my stereos. It's peaceful.
There are lot of maples growing near my window so I can see them every time when I take a look outside. I think it won't take so long for their to change color. I don't like autumn and winter so much, but I just love all the red and yellow leaves that drop down to the ground. It's warm feeling even if the weather is getting colder and colder each day.
My granny told me that this winter will be mild, because there isn't much rowan berries in trees this year. Birds that don't move south during the winter will get their food from elsewhere, so the lack of rowan berries don't mind them. I hope my granny is right :)
Yesterday I saw my friend Heini last time before she moves to Jyväskylä, Central Finland. I think we won't be able to see for quite an time, because I'm moving to Kauniainen, which is a part of Greater Helsinki. Anyways, we spend a nice day together. We took a look of a couple flea markets, but I didn't find anything to buy, Heini bought nice red curtains. After that we went to see The Simpsons - Movie. I liked it, it was as fun as I expected it to be. Although the political satire wasn't anything ground breaking it was good enough to made me laugh out loud. I don't know when we are able to meet next time, but luckily there is MSN and MMS.
