Longing to stray
I'm leaving tomorrow for the airport at five in the morning. I'll be back on Broadway by 9:15. Fourth of July in New York! I'm very excited. There are skyscrapers, there are crowded sidewalks and subways, there is a roof calling my name. There is scruffy Johnny Depp goodness starting Friday and picnics in the park. I really want to walk the Brooklyn Bridge.
I can't wait to have free time with no class interruptions. I can't wait to be home again. I really can't wait to see my friends.
Computer will not be ready in time, but I imagine I will see more this way, anyway. I kind of intend to take a bazillion pictures.
Now to breakfast, shower, and picking up a book from work. And maybe coffee, since I can't sleep anymore.
