So, Skyland didn't have my wallet. The theif used my WAMU CC at Zumiez and spent $102. Hopefully I won't have to pay for it. I canceled all my CC & closed my checking and savings accounts. Monday I have to go to the DMV so I can get a replacement drivers license so I can actually drive my car without being worried about getting pulled over. I only have a few things to worry about now: 1) is CC company is gonna wave the charge? 2) How am I gonna get my most beloved boyfriend out of his slump [completely different topic all together]? So yes, my life sucks right now, but I'm tryig to have an optimistic point of view. I decided I need to be the best I can be and I'm finally with someone who will kick my butt if I stray from my intended goals.
I mutated an old leather bound Journal to become my food/exercise diary. I made myself a set of rules, rules that are relatively easy to follow. If I restrict myself too much I will stray far and likely eat a pound of chocolate or something :)
My rules are as follows:
1. No soda except for in mixed drinks at the bar, and even then, in moderation
2. No eating past 11pm
3. Healthy sized proportions
4. Walk for at least 20min each day
5. Practice Yoga at least twice a week
6. When feeling low say mantra: "You are a strong, smart, beautiful and confident person."
7. Try to let things go easier, to not let things bother you as much
8. No pity/sad/binge eating
9. Be as honest as the situation allows
10. Look for support in loved ones when needed
So, I hope that these rules aren't so restricting that I can't follow them, but are strict enough for me to be the best Megan I know I can be.
Feel free to kick my butt too if you see me violating any of my rules. I'm gonna try to keep my Diary on me at all times (apparently unlike my wallet, lol) so it makes it easier for me to stay on track.
