Carousing Myspace

I was carousing MySpace, going from profile to profile of people I knew in high school and it made me realize that I talk to nearly none of the people that I knew at that time. It makes me sad because I knew so many great people in high school that I would like to have kept in touch with, but I don't. I can't say I don't know why because I do, it's because I didn't fit in during high school. I wasn't some social outcast or anything, I was just one of those people who just didn't belong and was destined for other things. Not necessarily better things, but other things. But I still can't help and wish that high school was a better time for me so I could enjoy the people I went there with.

On the other hand, I love the friends I have now and I wouldn't trade them for anyone else in the world. Some of them even went to my high school, they just weren't in the same grade as I was, although a few I still talk to.

Oh, I also got the new FOB album yesterday and have been listening to it nonstop. I have already determined my favorite track. It's #7: 'Thnks fr th Mmrs' It's chorus says: "Thanks for the memories even though they weren't that great." It basically summarizes most of the relationships I've ever had, including friendships.

My sister and I get to go see MCR on May 22nd when they come here. It's the last stop on their 'Black Parade' tour so it should be pretty awesome. We didn't get very good seats, in fact they're downright crappy, but we got tickets and I am totally excited to see them. My sister and I were gonna get tickets to see FOB when they come to town but they're sold out for this stop. They had tickets left in Tacoma but the show would've been on a Monday and sister has class on Tuesday so we can't go. All well, at least I get to see MCR.

So sleepy.... till later...
