Весна. Всё цветет! Даже ёлки!!!!!!!))))))))))

Недавно заметила удивительную вещь! Оказывается лиственница цветёт (дерево исключительно хвойное, с мягкими иголочками)!!!
И цветет удивительным образом:

ну я думала, что они если и цветут, то малозаметно))) Такими же зелеными иголочками))
А тут - аж чуть ли не розовые цветы распустились)

А я об этом как-то не задумывался. Но если они цветут, значит, должны быть какие-нибудь плоды. Яблоки там, груши. Тыквы на крайний случай. ;)

... flower at a conifer? I must confess, I never have seen that before. (confers are blooming but their blossoms are using the wind for transferring the pollen, so they are colourless.

It look realy pretty. :)

... I made a little online research. What we see is the female blossom of a larch tree. The male yellow brownish coloured blossoms should be somewhere above them and pointing downwards(while the female blossoms pointing upwards).
They turn later into the cones(fruits/seeds) of the larch tree. The male blossoms pollen just falls down on the female blossoms, or get carried by the wind to them.
I haven't seen that earlier, because in my region larch trees are realy rare to find.
