I'm so happy. For no good reason. Ok, it might be because I'm listening to Rockapella's version of "Save Tonight".
So freaking happy. Maybe its because mean people have finally become simply comical to me. No longer are they hurtful, or powerful....just....comical. I spent the day with Steph, the Queen of Not Being a Mean Person, and it really makes me appreciate how good plain niceness can make me feel. I should only surround myself with nice people- I know it sounds so obvious, but in theatre, things like niceness get muddled and overshadowed. People like Steph and Casey and Jonscales and Ben and Dana really impress me for keeping their niceness all this time.
Lets talk about the banjo. Why is this instument not appreciated the way it should be? Its pretty kickass. I think it should have a better rep. And the harmonica. Nothing is sexier then some good harmonica playing. (I have a sneaking suspicion that Gavin will understand where I'm coming from)
One Acts are going to kick ass!! I can't wait for casting...and Sasha's monologue that I picked out for him (shh....its the genie's opening monologue from aladdin. I did it for Matt and Luba, cause I know we'll all be saying the lines right along with him!)
I'm going to go sing "The Bare Necessities" with my daddy. Sweet dreams all!!
