I quit.

I know I said I was going to wait until friday to give Red Lobster my 2-weeks notice but I got it over with last night after my dinner shift. I talked to Erik, he's the laid back manager, so I took advantage of that. We talked and he understood my reasons for quitting and sympathized. I'm going to miss a lot of the people that work there but I feel great about my decision to quit. During my shift I kept wondering "maybe you shouldn't quit..." but I'm glad I went through with it. I swear, I feel like a weight has been lifted from my shoulders, I feel free. :D

I'm going to give myself a bit of rest before I go on a job hunt. I think I'll start looking in March.

I bought Hillsong United's "With Hearts As One" music dvd from their three-part 'I-Heart Revolution'. It's so awesome, you can tell God's presence comes down during their concerts, I would love to go to one someday. It's not just music though, it also shows clips inbetween songs about people around the globe and their daily struggles in life. They talked about the Caste system in India and how most people from there are considered lower caste and are seen as worthless. It's horrible to think about. And then they mentioned how when they're told about Jesus Christ and how humans are created in God's image they think it's wild, because these people who are seen as worthless and who also think of themselves in this way suddenly realize that they were created in the image of this allmighty God, and that he loves them and that they're worthy. That part made me cry. The world truly is in need of God's amazing love and mercy. It's a really good dvd.

My theatre appreciation class requires us to have total of 8 lab hours, which consists of outside class time checking out different aspects of the theatre. Tonight I went to school (it feels strange being there so late at night) and observed auditions. My Theatre appreciation teacher is directing this spring's play "Rainy Day People" so I got to see her there. It was interesting. Some people really get into character, it was pretty cool to watch.

Anyway, I'm going to get a snack. Good night.
