Went to the barber's today. Made the mistake of merely instructing him to give me a short back and sides, while keeping it longish on top. I now have a slightly strange looking, quiffy haircut. Not sure if I like it, or if I'll be able to gel it into something approaching a decent style.
Also, here's my sister and I being delinquent on public transport on my graduation day:
On a political note, the French media have gone into overdrive in their coverage of the run-up to the election. I'm leaning towards a mild dislike of Ségolène Royal, as she seems to talk a lot without saying anything of any substance (which was fine a few months ago, but is now wearing thin), e.g. "On doit apprendre à entreprendre" (we must learn to be enterprising). Having said that, Sarkozy's campaign mantra is "Together, anything is possible"... I fear that he's actually a complete nutter - or a raging megalomaniac at least. A recent survey said that over half of all French people are "disturbed" by him, and I am inclined to agree.
