True Blood 2x11 "Frenzy"

First off... UNF! for that scene in the beginning between Sophie-Ann and Hadley. You'd think there was a lot more going on besides a little blood sucking. Hopefully, we'll get more later. Besides that, I wasn't sure what kind of character Sophie-Ann was going to be, but I was pleasantly surprised by her flippant, but intelligent nature. Ever meet someone who you can tell is very smart, but it's almost as if they're jaded by the masses of people who can't keep up to the level of conversation that they desire? That's what the Queen reminds me of and a result is largely an air of near indifference.

Oooh, here's some lovely .gifs:

I can't decide whether she's actually egging Bill on or blatantly making fun of him. She's got an undercurrent of mischievousness and the way she puts in a touch of "don't you dare say no" when she insists about something. I don't think she actually likes getting to the point of insisting... after all, it breaks through her excited, exuberant persona. Also, props to Evan Rachel Wood for putting on the stellar performance (though I'm biased).

I liked Hadley too, Haun was able to deliver a nice amount of character for what little screen time and lines she had. Bravo! I'd like to see where that will go.

I actually liked Sookie this episode, of all characters. I think it's because she's not around Bill or Eric. Or any love interest, for that matter. And they're much better avoiding her too. Too bad it won't last. :\ Lafayette was awwwwesome. Anytime he's on the screen, I know I'm going to grin. Maryann? She's just playing the badass. Love it. Also, this show really needs to make better use of Pam. She's just made of so much win.

I'm not looking forward to waiting an entire two weeks for the season two finale.
