As folks seem to read this version of me on LJ

More than justalurkr, I'll crosspost here, as well:

I thought I'd begin a list of Fanfic Lines that Do Not Fail To Make Me Laugh, No Matter How Many Times I've Read the Story. In no particular order (other than that in which I remembered them) I've found:

Martha Wilson's Five Joint Missions, Post-Retrograde [SGA/SG1 Crossover Gen PG13 a "five things" story in her primarily gen AU series, which ought to be read by all, in toto]:

Teal'c inclined his head in greeting and said, "Indeed." Then he picked up the nearest guard and started using him to hit the others.

tied with a line from another story, Trading Day in the same series:

Rodney might possibly have been yelling "Shoot him! Shoot him!" during this period.

minervacat's 844,739 Ways to Eat a Hamburger [SGA, R, team gen, references to McShep Slash] which should probably be quoted in its entirety, but this one always does it:

"Have we reached our destination yet?" Teyla asked.

Rageprufrock's Hindsight [SGA, NC-17, McShep Slash, contemporary AU] nearly has too many to quote, but:

Then, Rodney comes down from the attic covered in dust, hauling his box, still furious and yelling, calling Sarah a homewrecker down the hall where Sarah is pulling her clothes out of John's closet, shouting that Rodney's a whore.

amireal's Scenes from a Lesser War [SGA NC-17 McShep Slash] and another "omg, what do I pick?" dilemma, but again, this line never fails:

"If I get a toaster, I quit." John said.

seperis's And All the World Beneath [SGA/SPN/other fandom crossover, NC-17 Slash, other pairing] extra credit due to the gravity of the situation otherwise:

"Not cool, dude."

Those are the ones that crossed my mind today. Does anyone reading this have lines like that, the ones that never fail to elicit the belly-laugh? Obviously, I read a lot more Stargate than anything else, but I've made forays in Harry Potter, Supernatural, House, CSI, Buffy, Angel, Trek et al.

give me an excuse to loaf
