This was both my best semester so far, and one I could have done better in.
OB/HR: A
Finance 1+2: B+ each
Mgmt Science: B+
The B+ in Finance came in this weekend. If I had not blown the midterm, I could have done better. I'm not sure wheat I missed on the final, I expected a higher score, but it seems everyone did mediocre. I had I missed a few homework assignments also, but they were small potatoes. My group did slightly better than the class on the project; I was slightly above average on the final, and a good couple of points better on the quiz average. On the midterm, I was going through another taxing week at work, was tired and made a variety of stupid mistakes. Like writing one answer as "411" when my calculator said "441" ... and I missed a chunk of points on not properly changing a stored variable in the calculator from one problem to the next. Actually, I could have made everything up with a much better final exam store, but it seems nobody did very well, avg. 73.6, I got a 75. That is what sealed the deal.
I also should have done better in Mgmt Science, I blew one of the two quizes, and since the whole class was lost, he didn't really give a third quiz. No idea what I got on the final.
Grades are curved around a B+, which I'm finding hard to beat. After two 3.33 (B+) semesters, this was a 3.5, and overall I have a 3.39. Over the next year, if I get 3.5's all year, it won't raise my average much. If I get an A- average over the next year, I'll have a 3.5, split A- and A's, a 3.6, all A's, about a 3.7 -- I don't see that as possble.
