mixed bag
-Getting away to NY this weekend was awesome. First time out of TO in about six months and didn't even realise until taking a short cut through the Hudson Valley. Funny how when I was still in training, I would go somewhere every couple of months. I really needed this. Sure my car got stuck in the biggest snow storm to ever hit NY, but being able to be alone in the car to think for hours without interruption and doing some of the things I used to love doing in the city made it all worthwhile. HS bud had his reception at The Boathouse so we got to see the fresh, untouched snow in Central Park Saturday night. The wedding was almost as white as the surrounding environment... 3 non-caucasian people in the 200+ person reception lol. Also saw my sister's trading floor at UBS... whoever got the contract to do all of those LCDs must have retired early.
-Girlfriend (?) returns tomorrow after delaying her flight a week... without telling anyone until a few days later. Should be interesting.
-Less than two months until opening day. Currently finalizing the details with my IT guy, digital pan/ceph machine, staff hiring, and ordering sundries. Office logo and promotional materials to be out soon.
