Got back from the AAO annual convention in Orlando Tuesday night. Went to register, check out some table clinic cases, and visit vendors. Didn't make it to much else. I did, however, get to hit Church Street Station, Pleasure Island, City Walk, Animal Kingdom, Daytona, Universal, Seasons52, a couple of outlet malls, and several open bar receptions.
Yes, I did have my priorities straight :).
I was really excited about going to Ponderosa LOL. When I was younger, I would beg my parents to take me. I loved having a steak entree and the all-you-can-eat buffet. It was heaven for me, especially when I got to dessert... who can refuse a self-serve soft serve ice cream machine? Just for memories, I went back during my visit. Sadly, it didn't do it for me at all this time. It's precisely these types of experiences that show how much one has changed over the years. For me, it mad me realise how spoiled I've been with all my experiences since my last trip to the Magic Kingdom ten years ago. Good in some ways, but truly unfortunate in others.
