Final push
I have two more weekends in which to write, before my story is due. I would really, really like to have a complete draft at the end of this weekend. That is achievable, because my drafts are usually a little shorter than my final products, and I am very close to the required wordcount. What I have left is, essentially, the final sex scene and conclusion. And massive rewriting of the boring beginning, which will hopefully be easier once I have a complete story.
I can do this. I am a professional.
Have been re-reading some Lois McMaster Bujold: Shards of Honor, Komarr and A Civil Campaign. Which of course makes me want to re-read the whole series, and pfui on my enormous TBR pile!
