I wrote both at lunch and after work yesterday, and ended with a total of 1700 words, all part of a sex scene...which may be a tad too long, I won't know until I'm done writing it. It doesn't feel too long. But if this weren't an erotic novel, it would definitely be too long...and I'd be showing more of Sylvie's investigations and less of her ( Read more... )

Yes, I very much enjoyed Hogfather. The special effects were quite good and the acting engaging. Why can't syfy do something alone those lines of quality?

I think syfy is too in love with CGI and not enough with acting.

Much better use of time than what I did last night. I played video games on Husband's PSP until 2 AM. Me an idiot.

That's funny--we just saw it a few days ago. H and I agreed Teatime was great but we weren't too impressed with Susan. Or the pigs.

I was okay with the pigs except for the final one, where Susan sobs on the very fake corpse.

I was mesmerized. The only things I've watched in the last few weeks are "Spirited Away" for the second time, a lot of fanvids, and bits of Harry Potter movies with a five year old. And before that, I don't think I watched anything for months. Oh, except for "G.I. Joe" in the theater.
