I'm so verklempt!!!
Okay, later tonight I'll be posting a little something for my first day, this 5th of November (*hint *hint), of fall_for_spike, but I just found out about this. I'm so touched and completely overwhelmed by this....
The judges of at the Fang Fetish Awards have graciously bestowed on me the following award:
I don't know if they realize how much this means to me...especially during this very hard time in my real life. I love this fandom (Spuffy, but really the entire BtVS/AtS realm), and I hate it when events detract from the reason we all read, write, promote, or contribute to this fandom - we all fell in love with the characters created by Joss Whedon (some more than others). This fandom will die out unless we who love it so continue to promote new authors, continue to encourage our older ones, and foster peaceful co-existence amongst us all.
While I didn't receive any writing awards this round, that didn't matter to me. The fact that my little ways of contributing have gone noticed means the world to me. I am so very honored to be the FFA's first recipient of their Outstanding Individual Award.
