Tired beyond measure
I'm sort of back. I'm tired beyond measure. Of course, how does one measure tiredness? Where is the scale? Is tiredness in fact measurable? And who came up with that saying?
We were able to get my grandfather home yesterday; however, there's really nothing more they can do for him. The big thing now is to keep him comfortable and spoil him rotten. After almost losing him Thursday, we are all just thankful he's still with us. My grandmother was a trooper, and I'm very proud of her. My mother stayed at the hospital; I would relieve her, so she could go to home & shower, change clothes, etc. So, the past few days I've been a glorified gopher for mom, grandmother, my aunt, and my sister...cause my sister is getting married in October - lots of things to do.
My sister had her bridal portrait made, and so this week - she and my mother reviewed the lot of them. I went to stay at the hospital with granddad while they went to do that, but of course, between the two of them - they needed me to help make the final decisions. We were able to get a nurse to stay with granddaddy at the hospital -- he was so disoriented some of the time that someone had to stay with him 24/7. The pictures were gorgeous, making it very hard to choose. I was proud of my sis & mom - they were able to narrow it down from 100 to around 30! Big sis (moi) came in and went that one, that one, not that one, etc. Mother and sis are very happy.

Some outstanding fiction is being produced over at watchersdiaries which I feel is being overlooked. While sure I'm biased - I'm a mod, I think I can safely say that everyone will find the fics tremendously good reads. So, please if you will, take the time, go read, REVIEW!!!, and make the writers (and me) very happy people.
While I was away, I picked up some more awards. SQUEE!

Icons:I'm working on more icons for my icons100 table. Should have the second batch posted tomorrow.
