Haha, likewise. I still have my LJ for long blathering and venting and general long winded updates. I'm actually using both Facebook and Twitter frequently too. I'm a web junkie, what can I say. :D I've joined different venues just to keep in touch with different people. One of my friends from college refuses to do anything except Twitter. *facepalm*
Ahhh that's cool! As long as you keep a place to vent and stuff i say it's all good! xD
I don't like Facebook.... I have one though because I didn't want someone taking my username(s) and because all my other friends had one. I have one, with a few pictures on it, but that's it. I do nothing else with it. I have my Myspace account but that's for RPing... which I really don't do much of anymore.
As long as you're staying in touch with the cool people, that's what matters. xD
I actually like Facebook better than Myspace. Someone I had a class with convinced me to make a Myspace account and I didn't like how it was set up. Every so often I'll get an email saying someone was trying to get in touch with me through there.
I haven't RP'd in ages. I've wanted to get back into general forum based RP, but I haven't the foggiest idea where to go that's generic and open to all genres. All I can find is real crappy anime based fandom. Mostly, I just want to be writing more actively which is hard to do most days.
Oh yeha, tell me about it. All I can find anymore are really cruddy anime RPs with little worlds created by tweens and their Mary Sue characters which is very annoying.
There for a while I had the top rated DCU group over on Myspace for a while... I picked up and moved it to a forum because we were getting too many noobs that wanted in that weren't worth the hassle. But it fell apart within the last year because a lot of my members ended up getting caught up with school and just life in general and stuff like that.
But yeah, it is... I agree. Not too many creative minds out there to bounce a good thought off of... Seems like many shyed away from the land of RP...
