Smallville series finale: Meh. It was decent for the first hour and a half, then it just hurried up and finished without feeling like it did anything. The resolution was glossed over in favor of just showing off the outfit. Could have been better.
Doctor Who "The Doctor's Wife": Brilliant. Mad. Awesome. Love. I've watched it three times already, as well as the Confidential, which was pretty much a tribute to every Doctor that ever was and his devotion to the TARDIS. Neil Gaiman should write more episodes.
On Sunday I caught up with some movies on my DVR:
Salt - A fairly decent action-flick in the vein of the Bourne movies. It left itself open for more but was fairly predictable throughout. Not a waste of time, though.
Easy A - As everyone else was saying, a lot better than expected and you should really give it a chance. I probably won't buy the DVD, but I'd likely sit through it again. It was very funny in a lot of places and moving in a few others. A good mix of witty.
After.Life - It was well-done, but nothing surprising at all. I was kind of bored through it all and felt some of the characters just had to have the mentality (and personality) of a rock in order for the concept to work.
I was so sleepy after that movie I couldn't stay up for Game of Thrones. I'll have to watch it when I get home tonight, sometime before the season finale of Hawaii 5-0. I've also been forgetting that Sunday nights on The Science Channel is Firefly night. But that's okay. This morning I ordered the series from Amazon since it's 50% off. AMC's The Walking Dead was also 50% off so I threw that in too.
