At the mall yesterday, I stood in front of a video kiosk and watched the trailer for Dragon Wars, three or four times. It looks so irredeemably bad that I have to see it.
Here are some reviews.
To quote reviewer
Uri Lessing: "There isn't a person on the planet that can suspend that much disbelief. This is not a movie to watch for escapism. This is a movie to watch with a bunch of friends and heckle mercilessly."
Giant serpents, ancient dragons, armadillos with rocket launchers vs the US military in downtown LA. How can this go wrong?

I may eat my words, but this month, January 2008 - I would like this to be the last month I ever attempt to build a nontrivial, non-Ajaxified website without a third party CMS. I'm learning a ton of stuff, but it just takes way too much time.

I worry sometimes about getting more technically out of date. I am, I know. I don't care enough to stay in front any more. What varies from one day to the next is whether I care about that.
That's variable too. One day I may up and learn
LISP, or get a job at Lockheed-Martin like I dreamed about many years ago.
