I'm trying to figure out what to do with the next few years. I might get out of the IT business entirely, and out from under my security blanket. I'm looking for options.
- Full-time drummer. Sure, but not here.
- Recording engineer. Yes, but I might find it frustrating to be the guy on the other side of the glass all the time.
- A masters in CS. Yeah I could. I did pretty well the last time I tried. But not in DLSU again. The pace is too fast and I like to enjoy life.
- A masters in Linguistics. Back in college, I would sometimes go up to Grace Barretto and ask her stuff like, "Grace, what's a morpheme?" and she would go, "WTF are you asking me that? A morpheme is ..."
- Medical mission fighting the malarial infestation in Bodo-bodo. This is my mother's suggestion.
- Bartender in the Caribbean. The salary is low, but I'd be at the beach all the time, and Mae Argos could visit me every month to drop off care packages from my mom. Antimalarial medicines, most likely.
- en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Computational_neuroscience and en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cognitive_science.
- I could stay in IT but do something else such as work in crypto or network load balancing software or AI or simulate the flow of air around a Lockheed's wing. The grittier stuff.

I love this word, infestation. It has such emotional content. Warning: the City of Makati has been infested. Please get your poor soul to the nearest evac center as soon as possible. Thank you have a nice day.
