Catching up on other things
So what else has been going on with me?
First, I will be having hernia surgery on June 4th. It is outpatient surgery, but I will likely be out of work about two weeks for recovery, which I've heard can be quite painful. Here's hoping for the good drugs to help deal with the pain.
I went to see Spider-man 3 a few weeks ago. I thought that it was good, but not great...mainly due to the inclusion of too many new characters.
Last weekend, I tagged along with my buddy, Michael to Monstermania 8 in Cherry Hill, New Jersey. The convention was a lot of fun. Here some pictures from the event, including my pics with Brad Dourif(from a lot of movies) and with Electra and Elise Avellan (from Grindhouse). Just don't ask me which twin is which.:)
We went to Philadelphia on the way home Sunday. Hopefully I'll have photos of that to share soon.
Between the convention trip and Samantha's visit(about 5 more hours until she arrives), I'm being well distracted from the upcoming surgery.
At least, while I sit at home and recover, maybe I can get back to writing regularly. I need to go ahead and start plotting issue #2 of Logos, as art from issue #1 is coming in from Lamont.
